Good effective speaking is a lifelong skill that will help you in all aspects of your future careers.
The Effective Speaking program is unique to the Air Cadet Program being the only cadet program to offer it. One of the key aims of the program is to provide an opportunity for Air Cadets to increase their self confidence; and increase their ability to reason, organize and express ideas. The program is run entirely by the Air Cadet League and the Sponsoring committee so the need for volunteers as instructors, judges, timers, coordinators and Master of Ceremonies is critical. New volunteers are always welcome!
For those of you that are planning on applying for a scholarship course, this is highly recommended and will help you gain the confidence that you will need for your Board Interview.
